Bugatti market in 2003

One may think that Bugattis are extremely scarce. A considerable number is offered though on the open market. Of course a number of cars will be sold under hand as well. (which may be as high as the number of cars shown here!)

Here Bugattis are listed that were offered for sale or have been on auction in 2003. If available asking prices or offered prices are mentioned. All Bugattis are ordered by type.

Where available, chassis nos. are given.

This makes a total of 79! (plus some EB Bugattis) It seems that 2003 was an extremely busy year, with a lot of sales, many cars of very different qualities, and even 3 T55´s (though of very different quality and provenance).
2004 already seems to be an equally promising year, with sales of a T15, T51, T55 Roadster and T57C Atalante already being announced!

After a comment from Bart Rosman, I tried to collect chassis no´s as far as possible last year. These now have been included in the list, which gives some interesting views. Some cars were sold that must have been side by side in the factory!

It is very much possible that cars appear in the list twice, if they were offered in different places.

All these Bugattis have been featured on the Bugatti Page, where details may be found on the Sales page, on the cars that have been for sale page, the Events page or the News page.
