The 1939 Bugatti Bulletin No.1
This is the first, and last, Bugatti Bulletin.
There are various articles, technical ones on braking distances, tire pressure and oil change by Jean himself. Then there is a "Bugatti in the News" kind of article on a new Bugatti dealer in Lessieux, France and Bugatti at the 1939 International exposition in New York. There is an international sectkion on the Bugatti Owners Club, and the latest news on competitions, not just race victories, also concours d'Elegance.
It was an initiative by Jean Bugatti, which appeared only shortly before his tragic death.
Containing 5 pages, and bound using a kind of copper rivets, it was aimed at the Bugatti customers, in an effort to inform them and to increase "Brand loyalty" as one would say these days.
It would remain the only issue ever published.
