Bugatti market in 2009

One may think that Bugattis are extremely scarce. A considerable number is offered though on the open market. Of course a number of cars will be sold under hand as well. (which may be as high as the number of cars shown here!)

Here Bugattis are listed that were offered for sale or have been on auction in 2009. If available asking prices or offered prices are mentioned. All Bugattis are ordered by type. Where available, chassis nos. are given.

Peugeot Bébé N° de série : 10082

This makes a total of 61! Less than the 104 (including the Malmerspach collection) of 2008, but better than the 54 of the year before. highlights of course were the two 5-litres, and 3 T57SC Atalantes (one Gangloff) on offer. Relatively few T35/37/51 GP's.

Also exceptional was 57787, the Faux Cabriolet "Charmaine", which was offered twice on auction, sold the second time, and is now on private offer again.

It is possible that cars appear in the list twice, if they were offered in different places.

Most of these Bugattis have been featured on the Bugatti Page, where details may be found on the Sales page, on the cars that have been for sale page, the Events page or the News page.
